Sophie Anderton made her first catwalk appearance in two years on Monday night, by taking to the runway for Liverpool Fashion Week.
While the world's fashion eyes are fixed firmly on Paris, the event held in Liverpool is only in its second year, but organisers are convinced it can compete with the other big shows.
Singer Natasha Hamilton opened proceedings, along with Queer Eye for the Straight guy star Julian Bennett to a packed crowd in Liverpool's Adelphi hotel, reports Click Liverpool.
Sophie's return to the modelling limelight clearly pleased fans, who couldn't get enough of her during the two-hour set.
Speaking to Clocked Sophie said: "Liverpool is a fantastic city with a thriving fashion culture. Liverpool Fashion Week was only created last year and I think it rivals London, Paris and even Milan.
"It has the potential to be up there with some of the big hitters. The city is fantastic and everyone involved with this event has worked so hard, they deserve success."
Designs from Flatley, Mark Melia, The Dressing Room, Neil Cooper, Ally Mac and Frederick & Madison were showcased on the evening, and model Caprice is expected to make an appearance this week too.
She will model her latest lingerie designs at the Adelphi hotel, and it appears she is just as excited to take to the runway, adding: "I'm really looking forward to supporting Liverpool Fashion Week and showcasing my By Caprice lingerie collection.
"Liverpool has a huge fashion and music culture, and I'm really excited to be a part of that. As well as my new spring/summer collection, I'll also be on the decks spinning a bit of hip- hop."
