The fashion love affair with Slumdog Millionaire continues, as the kids from the hit film have now taken to the runway to model for Indian Fashion Week.
Rubina Ali and Azharuddin Ismail, who play Latika and Jamal in the Oscar winning movie, hit the catwalk for designers Ashima and Leena Singh over the weekend.
Both children were handpicked from the slums of Mumbai to star in the film, and since then the world has gone mad for the two young stars, with Hollywood bigwigs apparently eager to sign them up.
With the media spotlight shining firmly on the young actors, were they nervous as they took to the runway? Azharuddin merely answered, "I am never afraid," he grinned.
And what did they think of their outfits for the show? Well, according to the Times of India, Azharuddin said: "I think my dress has already become very dirty because of my playing around so much here. They'll have to do something about that."
Meanwhile, Rubina decided to keep her outfit pristine, adding: "I like the skirt very much and want to take it back with me to Mumbai. The belt that I'm wearing is also very nice - I'm taking that too."
Clearly she has been taking some style tips from FROW regular, Freida Pinto, who has already taken to the runway for Dolce & Gabbana this season.
