The release of Sex and the City: The Movie has been credited with propelling some of the key brands it featured into higher positions of this year's CoolBrands list, which is regarded as a barometer of all that's hip.
Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, Vivienne Westwood and Manolo Blahnik all featured prominently in the movie and have climbed up the cool list this year.
Stealing into the top spot is luxury London lingerie label Agent Provocateur, whose ad campaigns have featured celebs and models, such as Kate Moss, Peaches Geldof and most recently, Daisy Lowe.
"We are delighted to have been selected once again by CoolBrands as the UK's coolest fashion brand," comments Jacqui Soliman, AP's UK and worldwide press coordinator. "2008 has been a particularly exciting year for the brand.
We have continued to push the boundaries and provoke thought through our creative collaborations, such as our White Wedding campaign with Kate Moss."
Paul Smith, Prada, Topshop, Chanel, Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs and Alexander McQueen are also among the coolest of the cool labels that have made it into the style top twenty, while the top spot on the list overall was reserved for Aston Martin.
