He might be the king of fashion hotspot Topshop and have Kate Moss hanging off his arm but not even Sir Philip Green can escape the credit crunch.
The Sunday Times rich list revealed this weekend that the Topshop mogul lost a whopping £500 million, falling to 6th in the list.
He's not exactly struggling though, his fortune still stands at £3,830 million making him the richest man in fashion. He won't be on dry pasta meals for the time being.
Sir Paul Smith joined Phillip on the list with a personal fortune of £230m while Jaeger boss Harold Tillman can sit and count his £295m fortune.
Net-a-Porter founder Natalie Massenet made the list of the 100 richest women in Britain, with a £53m fortune.
Isn't it ironic that with all these designers selling dresses for hundreds of pounds it's our own humble Topshop that brings in the big money!
