Princess Beatrice’s Royal Wedding hat makes a staggering £81,101 on eBay.
As well as the bride’s and maid of honour’s dress it has been deemed a fashion talking point.
With most views being slanted towards the side of ‘what was she thinking?’ the Princess did receive some praise for her bold fashion choice. With plenty of press surrounding it the Princess saw it as a great opportunity to raise money for charity.
The 22-year-old’s Little Bee Initiative supports UNICEF and Children in Crisis.
The blush-coloured creation was designed by milliner Philip Treacy, who also dressed the heads of another 35 high profile guests, including, Princess Eugenie and Victoria and David Beckham.
Whilst on the site, the hat received 724,000 views and 94 bids before being sold.
The hat was specially designed to match the Valentino Couture coat she also wore to the ceremony at Westminster Abbey.
