Liverpool Fashion Week almost pulled off an almighty coup by getting Nicole Richie to appear at the event but the LA star pulled out after a money row involving Amy Winehouse's goddaughter.
The Mirror reports that Nicole backed out after finding out that 12 year old Dionne Bromfield was been paid more than her to strut her stuff, receiving £10,000.
Other rumours suggest that it was Nicole's pregnancy that forced her to pull out but we much prefer the first version!
A source told the Liverpool Echo: "We'd booked her to come to the finale fashion show and then host the party afterwards. We did a survey on Facebook and her and Paris Hilton came out as the two stars most people wanted to see.
"We decided on Nicole because she hasn't really done anything in Britain so we thought we'd be guaranteed plenty of interest, whereas Paris has been everywhere over the last few weeks with her reality show."
Liverpool Fashion Week doesn't hold a torch to London Fashion Week but with label loving Nicole there it could have been a lot more glamorous affair.
