Oh, we do love a good romantic tale, and they don't come much sweeter than that of Marc Jacobs and his fiance Lorenzo Martone.
Lorenzo revealed all to The Cut last week about when he took the designer to meet his family in Brazil, and how the engagement actually came about.
He commented: "It went very well. He met my entire family- mom, dad, brother, grandmother. Everyone adored him. Like they should, right?"
Despite the many rumours flying about that the holiday was actually an engagement trip, Lorenzo insisted, "It was just a trip to meet my family."
That said, he did confirm their engagement and revealed that he was the one who actually proposed to Marc, and bought the rings from Marc's favourite jeweller during Paris Fashion Week. Aww!
Martone added: "I was in Paris for Fashion Week, for the Vuitton show, so I had a little planning beforehand to do that."
According to The Cut, the rings are pink-gold triple bands, and he popped the question during dinner at the Mercer Hotel, shortly before their romantic trip to Brazil.
"That’s an iconic place for us, you know? [Marc] lived there for ten years. When I proposed, the rings came with our starters in the restaurant."
"I bought the rings in Paris, brought them here, and then before the trip to Brazil, I proposed," he gushed.
A nervous Lorenzo revealed that he was relived that the whole thing went to plan, and although they haven't set a date yet, he apparently thinks that December, in St. Barts would be lovely!
