Marc Jacobs is reportedly planning to expand his fashion empire.
The designer wants to expand in the West Village, where he already has five units in the area.
He was one of the first to set up shop in the area back in 2000, and since then many other designers such as Cynthan Rowley and Ralph Lauren have followed suit.
According to WWD, Robert Duffy, president of Marc Jacobs International has confirmed that the company has signed another lease for a large space on Bleecker Street.
Duffy added that the site, which has a tenant, will be vacant by the end of the year, saying "Itâs a new concept for us."
