Madonna's toyboy Jesus Luz will not be appearing the Louis Vuitton's fall 2009 ad, according to new reports.
Speculation had been rife that Luz would make an appearance alongside Madonna, after she was confirmed for a second season earlier this week.
Marc Jacobs has been forced to field questions about Luz's involvement, and told The Cut last night: "I don’t know why!" he said, laughing. "Why is everyone asking me about him? He’s not modelling for me. I don’t do menswear."
Madonna on the other hand has been working for Jacobs, and he revealed to The Cut that they had been shooting together that very day.
"I think it was a great shoot," he said. "She’s the ultimate professional and she and Steven are amazing. I love working with her. There’s no one better."
So with the spotlight not firmly back on Madonna for the new ad campaign, Jesus can concentrate getting to know the industry, and who better to ask for advice than Jacobs and his fiancé, Lorenzo Martone?
"We’re friends and we have dinner sometimes," said Martone. "I guess as a Brazilian that’s in New York and is in this industry, I have some hints and advice to give.
"You know, he’s starting a very big modelling career and he has a lot of potential. So he asks me my opinion about some people in the industry-photographers and that. And I tell him."
