Lily Cole has taken part in an Ethical fashion event at Cambridge University.
The stunning supermodel has kept a low profile since she enrolled in the college last September, and put her modelling commitments on the back burner.
However, when students asked her to take part in an Ethical fashion show, the redhead couldn't refuse, although she did decline to take to the catwalk.
According to the Daily Mail, Lily made a speech about the importance of the fashion industry using organic and fair trade materials.
Speaking to the students, she said: "As in any industry it's important to look through the process from beginning to end to make sure we are not producing in ways detrimental to the world.
"As these labels show, producing clothes with a conscientious awareness of the global impact they cause is by no means impossible or limiting," reports the Daily Mail.
She even dressed for the occasion, donning a simple blue tea dress, cardigan, complete with black opaque tights and heels.
