Leonardo DiCaprio has been approached to become the new ambassador of Carrera's timepiece line.
Tag Heuer, the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton-owned Swiss timepiece giant has reportedly tapped Dicaprio to replace Brad Pitt, according to WWD.
Pitt's six-year contract ended last month and now DiCaprio is rumoured to have signed for three years, reports a Tag Heuer spokeswoman.
The deal is said to be worth several million dollars, which during these harsh economic times is almost unheard of.
It also comes at a period where everyone is tightening their belts, so this collaboration is considered quite the deal breaker.
DiCaprio will appear in the spring campaign in both magazines and billboards wearing the brandâs Carrera Day-Date model.
