Leighton Meester hit London last night to honour the work of Vera Wang through out this year.
The actress was recently named the face of Vera Wang's latest fragrance, for her "beauty, talent and spirit," which is due for release in the spring/summer 2011.
The evening was thrown by Browns to celebrate their collaboration with the designer, the results of which can be seen in the stores.
Wang said: "I'm thrilled she's here. She is everything you could wish for in a Hollywood star. Intelligent, kind, an incredibly good human being and beautiful too of corse."
During the evening, the designer also paid tribute to her hosts, the creative and managing director of Browns; Caroline and Simon Burstein and their mother, the founder, Joan Burstein.
Burstein wasn't at the dinner but Wang said: "She's an icon to so many people, all over the world. The fashion world is a different place because of her."
