Lauren Conrad is currently taking a break from her clothing line The Lauren Conrad collection but it seems she has not given up designing completely as she is creating a range for discount store chain Kohl's, The New York Times reports.
The Hill's star will launch the collection in October and it is expected to be inspired by her own California cool style. The collection will be called LC Lauren Conrad.
senior executive vice president of Kohl’s, Don Brennan told the paper: "To be important to the consumer today, you need to differentiate yourself. You need to give the customer a reason to come in and shop with you. And we feel like these exclusive brands do just that."
The collaboration is said to have been in development for more than a year and the items will be priced between $20 and $60. Lauren said: "I’m very excited that I'm allowed to talk about it now."
She added: "Now that the economy’s not doing so well, I think it’s everybody that’s looking for bargains. I think that it’s actually great timing."
