Kelly Osbourne dyed her hair grey because she hasn't got long to left to experiment with her locks.

It's something I've wanted to do my whole life. I've always wanted to be young and have grey hair

Despite the shade being associated with elderly people, the 'Fashion Police' host recently decided to dye her tresses the colour as she wants to have as much fun as possible with her looks before she turns 30.

The 27-year-old star said: "It's something I've wanted to do my whole life. I've always wanted to be young and have grey hair. To me, I'm 27, I've got three years left, the way I look at it, to have fun with it, because once you're 30, you look like a right idiot walking around with like rainbow, bright color hair and all different things like that."

Kelly - daughter of rocker Ozzy Osbourne and TV star Sharon Osbourne - has previously sported lavender locks and says she doesn't worry what people think of her.

She said: "I don't exactly come from the most normal family. I don't get why anyone expects anything different from me.

"So I think, for me, I'm just having fun with it as much as I can until it's not appropriate anymore."

Kelly also says she has no desire to swap locks with her mother Sharon, which are currently sporting a bright red shade.

During an appearance on TV discussion show 'The Talk' - on which her mother Sharon is a panelist - she said: "I like her fire engine hair. Which brings me to my next topic of conversation. If you have hair the colour of a fire truck, don't tell me not to have grey hair!"
