Kate Winslet has revealed the stress and panic she experienced in trying to find the perfect Oscar dress.
The stunning actress wowed on Sunday night at The Academy Awards, in a pewter coloured Yves Saint Laurent silk tulle asymmetric gown, although she admitted her primary concern was being comfortable on the red carpet, rather than fashionable.
She also got through three stylists to finally achieve her look, after revealing last week she had yet to choose a dress and was quite relaxed about the whole thing.
33-year-old Kate ended up relying on one trusted stylist, as in the run-up to the most prestigious awards event of the season, she let two of her main fashion advisors go.
She said: "It has been difficult to find the right balance of having a dress that's fun to wear and that I also feel good wearing. Being on the red carpet is a privilege and you have a great time but I want to get it right," reports Marie Claire.
Oscar Winner Kate did keep her original hair and make-up team, which proved to be a smart move on the night because she looked stunning.
