The new Chanel biopic has reportedly been given the fashion seal of approval, from none other than fashion legend Karl Lagerfeld.
He is said to have worked very closely with the team who made the film, to make sure everything was authentic and well styled and from what we've heard, it's pretty spectacular.
The team at John Smedley told CatwalkQueen: "Apparently the costumes for the Chanel film were overseen personally by a the white haired guy himself."
If that wasn't enough to excite eager fashion fans, Audrey Tatou who plays Chanel in the film, reportedly wears some pieces from the UK knitwear company, believed to be favoured by Coco Chanel herself in the past.
The source continued to CatwalkQueen: "According to my colleague in Paris, he waved the John Smedley pieces through without hesitation saying he didn't need to check John Smedley, he knew they would be perfect for the film.
"I've had heard that Coco Chanel wore John Smedley herself and Audrey Hepburn certainly did."
