John Galliano is planning to dress our kids with a new line of childrenswear to be launched next year.
The Dior designer has teamed up with Diesel to design a new collection of kids clothes aimed at fashion fans between four and 14 and promises to be full of unique and playful creations.
"The premium world is generally booming, so it's no surprise that it also touches the kidswear business, a market which has been experiencing amazing growth year-on-year," Diesel chief Renzo Rosso told WWD.
Galliano unveiled a fun 'English man in New York' themed adult spring/summer 08 collection in Paris last week so he's no stranger to causing a stir by mixing fashion and fun on the runway.
"Galliano likes to play and create fairy-tale worlds even for adults. Imagine what he can do for kids," added Rosso.
The new collection will be previewed in January and will hopefully be in stores in time for autumn/winter 08.
Galliano is also planning to launch ranges of watches, cosmetics and swimwear in the near future in a bad to expand his name throughout the fashion industry.
