Henry Holland is reportedly in talks to design a range for Debenhams.
The Brit fashion designer, who credits Agyness Deyn as both his model and muse, would be featured alongside the likes of Julien Macdonald, Jasper Conran and John Rocha, if the reports turn out to be true.
According to Drapers, the high-street favourite is hoping to secure Holland in the hope that his designs would attract a younger audience, to enable it to compete with the likes of the hugely popular Topshop brand.
Recent sales figures have show that Debenhams is outperforming both Next and Marks & Spencer, however with M&S announcing its latest designer collaboration with Zandra Rhodes yesterday, perhaps this is just Debenhams way of responding?
Before we all get too excited, however a spokesman told The Sun: "We have had a couple of meetings but it’s early days. Nothing is signed on the dotted line yet."
We wait with baited breath...
