Grace Kelly is one of film's biggest icons and now her fashion style will be honoured in a display at Saks Fifth Avenue.
This week New York's famous department store will showcase glamouros star's style as part of the city's month-long tribute to Princess Grace.
World famous designers Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, Ralph Lauren, Zac Posen, Ralph Rucci and Vera Wang have recreated some of Kelly's most iconic looks for the display.
"When we first had the idea of American designers paying their own tribute to Grace Kelly as a fashion icon we asked Saks. If they would have said no, I don't know how we would have done it," says the Honorable Maguy Maccario Doyle, the Consul General of Monaco in New York reports ctv.
Costumes from films such as "To Catch a Thief," "High Society" and "Rear Window," inspired the dresses on display as well as the gown Kelly wore the night she won the Best Actress Oscar for the film, "The Country Girl" in 1955.
"Grace Kelly had an undeniable influence on fashion and she unarguably continues to be an important fashion icon of our time," says Michael Fink, Vice President and women's Fashion Director at Saks Fifth Avenue.
Kelly, who became Princess of Monaco after marrying to Rainier III, Prince of Monaco , died tragically at the age of 52 after her car crashed off a mountain road above the principality in which she reigned.
