Giorgio Armani
Reports have suggested that Giorgio Armani may have finally found a new head of communications.
According to WWD, the man in the frame is Fabio Mancone, who currently holds the post of senior vice president at Polo Ralph Lauren Europe.
He is being billed as the top candidate to replace Robert Triefus, former executive vice president of worldwide communications at Giorgio Armani SpA.
Triefus left the company in July last year, to take up a post at Gucci as their worldwide marketing and communications director.
Mancone is no stranger to the Armani as he was formerly international general manager of Giorgio Armani fragrances and cosmetics, at the LâOréal luxury products division in Paris.
He was also responsible for worldwide brand strategy and business development, reports WWD.
