Giles Deacon designs nail varnish range for New Look
Giles Deacon has revealed that he is collaborating with highstreet store New Look to create a collection of nail varnishes and lacquers.
The British designer told Grazia magazine what he was planning, even showing the editors some sketches and drafts for some exciting nail wraps in leopard print and some different nail tones.
New Look will sell the range under the name Gold by Giles.
Deacon is not going to disappoint us with his interesting hues which include a summer perfect lilac and pink and a more autumn/winter friendly burgundy and gold. He admits that they are all colours to get you noticed.
Nails have been a big thing this year, noteably the most popular trends lying with bold and bright turquoise and orange and the multicoloured mani seen on celebs including Fearne Cotton and Made in Chelsea's Caggie Dunlop.
It's not just colours that are interesting us either as more and more effects are becoming readily to hand. Everything from crackle effects to Minx nails and the wraps as already mentioned are setting the trend. One thing is for sure - the more nail art, the better.
