Models, actresses and even Bruce Forsyth graced the catwalk at Naomi Campbell's Fashion for Relief 2011 event at the Cannes Film Festival on Monday.
The fundraiser was set up in order to raise money for the Japan Red Cross in light of the recent tsunami that hit Japan and stole the show from Brad Pitt's The Tree of Life which was being shown at the same time.
Campbell enlisted the help of many celebrities who were at the Film Festival including supermodel Karolina Kurkova, actress Rosario Dawson and Hollywood legend Jane Fonda who wowed the audience in her stunning gold couture dress and arugably outshone many of the younger models.
Former Miss World Wilnelia Merced was accompained down the catwalk by husband Bruce Forsyth and the pair enjoyed a swift dance before Bruce's attention was taken by one of the younger models.
Not all aspects of the show went to plan, model Lindsey Wixson re-enacted Naomi Campbells famous 1993 catwalk topple and managed to fall off her shoes three times on the runway.
Campbell teamed up designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana to create limited edition T-shirts for the event, of which all proceeds will go towards helping the victims of the Japan tsunami.
Previous Fashion for Relief shows have raised millions for charities all over the world and have helped millions of people in times of disaster and tragedy, and this years show is no different and hopes to help the people affected by the tsunami that hit Japan earlier this year.
Despite a few falls here and there, spirits remained high as the models graced the catwalk with beautiful gowns and big smiles. To celebrate the success of the fundraiser Campbell and Fonda attended the Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend event and then proceeded to enjoy a night out on the town in Cannes.
