David Gandy to sign copies of new D&G biography
Dolce and Gabbana's dedication to their muse and first male model David Gandy will soon be hitting the bookshops.
And if this wasn't treat enough, the man himself will be appearing at
Searcys Champagne Bar at One New Change’ on 2 October to sign copies of the new biography, David Gandy by Dolce and Gabbana.
Since his rise to fame in 2006, after being flewn to LA by the designing powerhouse to appear on a 50ft portrait over Times Square, Gandy has appeared in countless modelling shoots, appeared on chatshows including Friday Night with Jonothan Ross and bagged himself a super hot Saturday, Mollie King, for a girlfriend.
On his Vogue.co.uk blog, David wrote about the honour: "I'm looking forward to the book release as a kind of celebration of everyone's combined dedication, commitment and hard work.
"I couldn't have imagined in my wildest dreams when I first start working together with Dolce and Gabbana over 6 years ago, that I would ever have my own book. For Domenico and Stefano to consider me for this is a great, great honour."
Highly regarded fashion photographer Mario Testino is one of the main men behine the coffee table style book, which will document Gandy's coverted career through images of his numerous photoshoots and anecdotes by the model himself.
The book will also feature stunning photographs taken by Steven Klein and previously unseen work by Mariano Vivanco.
The exclusive book signing will take place at Searcys Champagne Bar between 11am and 12.30pm on 2 October.
