Daisy Lowe is the new face of Dr Martens who plan to re-launch their famous boots in the fashion market.
Supermodel Daisy will appear in the latest ad campaigns for the boots company in a bid to appeal to young fashion fans and rebuild their 90s popularity.
Dr Martens were huge in the mid to late 1990s and were a fashion must-have for teenage girls wanting to punk-up their look. School girls and supermodels alike decorated of their Doc Martens with bright coloured laces and wore them with just about any outfit.
After four years of desperately trying to avoid bankruptcy, the brand plans to unveil a revived growth strategy. Chief executive David Suddens confirmed to mpdclick that they are back on track financially, and plan to open six new stores, including one in New York.
Daisy Lowe is the daughter of 90s indie icon Pearl Lowe and recently had a DNA test that revealed her father is Gavin Rossdale, who is now married to Gwen Stefani- making Gwen Daisy's step mum.
Pearl is now fighting Gavin for back payments of child support for the years he wasn't around.
