Hot designer of the moment Christopher Kane has designed 100 umbrellas in conjunction with the Vauxhall VX Collective.

Kane said:” I love umbrellas and wanted to design something beautiful but still functional for people to use daily.
The design comes from a dream I had- raining diamonds.”

He told vogue that it had been a pleasure to work with Vauxhall- who sponsors British talent in fashion and film to create one off designs.

The Scottish designer has been compared to John Galliano and Alexander Mc Queen for his cutting edge designs; his catwalk collection at London Fashion Week was one of the best shows of the event this year.

He has also designed a capsule collection for Topshop, which sold out in minutes after the launch.
