Christopher Kane is one of the new stars of London Fashion Week.

The up and coming designer showcased his catwalk collection to an enthusiastic fashion crowd.

Kane only graduated from Central Saint Martins last year but is already being compared to Alexander Mc Queen and John Galliano.

Hi collection took inspiration from strong, feisty women like Scarlett O Hara from the classic Gone with the Wind.

He said before the show:” I have turned to a more complex, darker shade of female this time. She's a predator.”

Jane Rapley, head of Central Saint Martins told the Scotsman:” Christopher is undoubtedly extremely talented.”

“I think he'll do very well because he has the right temperament - a strong sense of self without too much ego.”
