The nation's sweetheart, Cheryl Cole has launched her own charity, the Cheryl Cole Foundation, in a bid to raise funds for The Prince's Trust for vulnerable youngsters in the North East.
The Girls Aloud and former X Factor starlet has donated some of her favourite outfits for the first fundraiser in partnership with Asos Marketplace that is said to be on course for making thousands of pounds for the youth charity.
Cheryl says in a statement: "I am absolutely amazed at the amount of interest the clothes have had and cannot believe how generous you have all been. I can't stop smiling!"

Since the auctions went live on 13 June, 60,000 people have placed bids on the outfits that include the Philip Lim playsuit worn by Cheryl for the second season of The X Factor, which has had 10,000 bids alone, and her stunning Herve Ledger Ariele Striped dress she wore for a girl's night out to Nobo.
But with two more designer dresses to get your hands on, the bidding war is not over yet.

She adds: "I'm hoping that today's Julien MacDonald dress, which I wore for Alexandra Burke's X Factor final is going to be a popular choice too. This dress is very, very special to me, it's such a unique piece!"
Cheryl was inspired to start the charity and admits she knows what it is like to grow up in a tough neighbourhood. She wants to help and support people from difficult backgrounds to change their lives for the better.
David Beavis, regional director for The Prince’s Trust in the North East, said: "Too many young people here in the North East feel they don’t have any talents, and will never amount to anything. Thanks to the Cheryl Cole Foundation, we’ll be able to support many more of these young people across the region, helping them to achieve things they never thought possible. We would like to say a huge thank you to Cheryl Cole and ASOS Marketplace for their support."
