The Gossip's leading lady Beth Ditto is rumoured to be headlining at Fendi's fashion bash in Paris later this month.
Fashion House, Fendi are used to rattling a few cages at Paris Fashion Week, as last year they hired Amy Winehouse to send off their show in style.
Seeing as Amy is sunning herself abroad and has no free time to jet to Paris at the last minute, style-icon-in-the-making, Beth Ditto was summoned instead.
The band will headline the Fendi Fashion event on March 11, according to WWD and will play new material, just recorded in Portland for their new album.
It's a strange pairing to say the least, as Beth's lively enthusiasm and penchant for skin tight lycra is likely to clash with all of fashion week's skinny minnies, but at least it will be an unforgettable show.
Beth is currently moving one step closer to fashion domination, as in addition to this high-profile fashion gig, she is also due to launch her range for Evans later this month and is firm friends with stylista Kate Moss too.
