Victoria Beckham's DVB fashion line has been withdrawn from US stores following poor sales.

The Spice Girl had high hopes for her denim range but stores including Fred Segal and Kitson have now dumped the label, reports contact music.

Victoria had her heart set on breaking into the fashion world but it seems she didn't want to have to put in the hard work after Kitson owner criticised her reluctance to take part in store appearances.

He said,"We asked her PR people so many times for her to appear but she didn't. Celebrity lines are no different from an album or music tour. They have to be promoted to sell."
