The famous bow decorated hat that Aretha Franklin wore to Barack Obama's inauguration is to be displayed in the Smithsonian museum the singer told WBLS radio.
It will only be a loan though as then the hat will take it's place in the Obama Presidential Library.
Aretha told radio presenter Steve Harvey that she was shocked by the attention her hat received and that her publicists office was inundated with calls about the headpiece.
She had travelled as far as Paris to find a hat to go with her coat but found the piece closer to home in Detroit.
Designer Luke Song also revealed he has been flooded with orders for replicas.
Nice to see that Aretha is style a style icon at 66.
