Alexander Skarsgård has been unveiled as the newest face of the Calvin Klein brand, fronting the Encounter men’s fragrance.
He stars in the new worldwide advertising campaign alongside Lara Stone, who has worked with the brand for a number of seasons and different products.
The ENCOUNTER Calvin Klein campaign tells the story of unresolved tension and desire between a man and a woman. A modern take on classic film noir, the dark and mysterious creative is left open ended to infinite possibilities. The intriguing and seductive new fragrance creates a contrast of freshness and warmth with crisp spice, warm cognac and sensual woods.

Mr. Skarsgård joins a distinguished group of well-known models, actors and actresses who have starred in the brand’s renowned advertising campaigns, which have provoked controversy for nearly four decades.
ENCOUNTER Calvin Klein is an addictive blend of crisp spice, warm cognac and sensual woods. A contrast of freshness and warmth makes the men’s fragrance a new, distinctive expression of unapologetic masculinity.
The ENCOUNTER Calvin Klein bottle is crafted from high-quality, heavy-weighted glass and has a unique shattered design. The rich, deep blue creates a sleek, luxurious look, complemented by a gunmetal detail under the cap.
The simple, yet deluxe outer packaging suggests that there is something more beneath the surface of contrasting matte and glossy finishes. A silver foil logo adds a sophisticated edge.
