Are you 50+, fabulous and fancy modelling?

Are you 50+, fabulous and fancy modelling?

But who says that maturing has to be anything other than dignified, exciting and most importantly fun.

One online retailer is on a mission to find fifty-something, fashion conscious women to feel fabulous and participate in its reality panel.

As a result of last year's panel, isme.com is aiming to find a new lovely group of ladies of all shapes and sizes to make up the next inreality panel.

The winners will be treated like runway royalty and will take part in sensational photo shoots and will be modelling the collection for the isme.com catalogue and website.

Not only does the experience allow you to become more confidence about your age and appearance, perhaps even helping you to work through some insecurities, but you have the opportunity to share your opinions and experiences with other women.

Life is too short to be afraid. I feel younger and like a new woman. I feel great, this whole experience is surreal but I am having the best time

Discussing topics of interest with like minded people and helping to design clothes that fit and flatter mature women to better accomodate different shapes and trends to suit the season.

57 year old Chrissy from Scarborough, even finds herself being stopped in the street: "I’m always getting spotted by people who have recognised me from the sponsorship adverts on Loose Women, it’s incredible.

"It has been an opportunity of a lifetime. When you get older, people think you are just going to blend into the background but you can still look fantastic over 50 – and I do!"

Although many look to the sights of Tinseltown to inspire their trends such as the beautiful if not unrealistic looks maintained by the likes of Madonna and Andie MacDowell and the stunning Michelle Pfeiffer, there are some celebrities closer to real life. Beauties Carol Vorderman, Cherie Lunghi and even Oprah Winfrey show us that all shapes and sizes can be sexy.

Naturally, the thought of modelling is nerve-wracking for anyone inreality panel member Margaret 52, needed some persuading: "Initially I was so nervous – I was shaking desperately when I first entered the studios but now I am so much more confident.

"Life is too short to be afraid. I feel younger and like a new woman. I feel great, this whole experience is surreal but I am having the best time."

If you think that you could benefit from the inreality panel or help others with a less confident outlook then apply by sending your name, age, home town, clothing and shoe size and a couple of recent photographs to:

The Inreality Team, Shop Director, Skyways House, Speke Road, Speke, Liverpool L70 1AB or visit coffeelounge.isme.com/competition to enter online.

It may sounds cliche, but we only live once - why not make the most of it and show the world that you can be fifty and still look fabulous.
