Mark Coxhead, head of marketing at Myprotein.com had the following to say,
"The difference in ideals between what men consider perfect and what women consider perfect is extremely interesting.
"It’s not entirely surprising to hear that women prefer their men leaner and less bulky, especially given the names that appeared on the list of celebrity body parts women most appreciate. It is quite common for men to ideally want to be bigger, as I think there’s something very masculine and primal about having a larger physique."
"Fat loss is also very important for our customers, as having huge muscles won’t look great if they’re covered in a layer of fat - something you won’t see on any of the celebrities people voted for. Whatever the goal is there are no magic wands and nutrition is hugely important, whether you wish to trim down or bulk up. We have a fantastic community of experts and customers on our MP community forum for beginners that need help and advice."
