Victoria Beckham has not always been the stylish icon she is now
Victoria Beckham may have re-invented herself as a super stylish fashion designer, but as we know this always wasn't the case.
During her singing days she sported a lip ring, which has been voted the biggest celebrity fashion disaster this century.
Even more surprisingly, husband David isn't far behind in the poll either.
The footballers cornrow hairstyle saw him come in second in the poll by Central Contracts, which asked 1,000 respondents to name the worst celebrity fashion catastrophes since 2000.
A female who took part commented: “Victoria and David are normally the most stylish celebrity couple but her lip ring and his cornrows will go down in history as serious fashion fails. I honestly don’t know what David was thinking with that hair style. I bet he cringes every time he sees that picture.”
Lady Gaga's infamous meat dress she wore to the 2010 VMA's came in third on the list. Then Kim Kardashian and everything she wears saw her steal forth spot.
A male vegetarian respondent said: “Lady Gaga’s meat dress was totally disrespectful. I know she is a controversial figure and wanted to get people talking but that was so many steps over the line. It makes me so angry every time I see a picture of her wearing that dress.”
Angelina Jolie's black velvet gown which introduced us to 'the leg' came in at 7 on the list too.
A spokesperson for Central Contracts commented: “Looking back over the list there have been some shocking fashion disasters. I think the Beckham’s will not want to see those pictures again. However celebrities such as Kim Kardashian and Tulisa might want to reconsider their wardrobes.”
