Taylor Swift has been getting fashion advice from Lena Dunham.
The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer - who performed at the annual Victoria's Secret fashion show last year - has been picking up style tips from the 'Girls' creator, who she claims has great taste.
Speaking to E! News at her Keds Style Icons event at Nordstrom in Glendale, California, she said: "[For] fashion inspiration ... Lena Dunham always has great websites and shops at great stores.
"She always tells me her newest obsession, whether it [is] a new website, a blog or a store, she's really good with that stuff. And Zooey Deschanel is one of the most fashionable people I know."
The 24-year-old star is influenced by styles of past decades from the 50s and 60s through to the 90s and likes "feminine" clothing and classic pieces.
She said: "I like to wear pearl earrings, I like red lips. I figure if I stick to classics I won't have as many cringe-worthy moments looking back 25 years from now."
Asked if she feels the pressure of being called a style icon, she joked: "It takes me months to plan outfits and I put them on a chart, I dress them on mannequins and I have a actually an entire wing of my house dedicated to the planning and plotting of me wearing different outfits. As a style icon, you have to take yourself very seriously."
On a serious note, she said: "No I don't actually, I decide what I'm going to wear five minutes before I walk out of the door. I shop where most girls shop.
"I think the whole purpose of Keds is to portraying something classic and easy and fun and casual.
"The fact that Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn wore Keds, you look back and they looked just as great then as they do now. Some things are classic."
