The model and actress teamed a striking red trouser suit with a dark purple lip at the People's Choice Awards.
Ruby Rose always likes to make a statement on the red carpet and at the People's Choice Awards the actress and model teamed a bright red trouser suit with a bold purple lip.
The striking look was typical of the model and actress' risk-taking style, which has made her a fashion icon and one of Hollywood's most important new trendsetters.
Rose is known for her love of trouser suits, but for the January 18 awards she went for a brighter style than usual, choosing a fiery red two piece by designer Veronica Beard.
The 'Orange Is The New Black' star made her look even sexier by opting to go braless underneath the blazer and accessorising with a simple long necklace. She topped of the ensemble with a pair of pointy black Jimmy Choo heels.
For her makeup Rose kept her eyes simple and instead brought the drama with her dark purple lipstick. Rose's makeup artist, Jo Baker, chose Urban Decay's-new Vice Liquid Lipstick in dark purple shade Blackmail, to contrast the bright colour of the star's suit.
On Instagram Rose thanked her team for helping her get ready for the big night, admitting, "I don't wake up like this it takes a village". Rose also gave a shout out to Baker, as well as hairstylist Brant Mayfield and stylist Jessica Paste.
Rose's look for the People's Choice Awards was in contrast to the style she sported at the UK premiere of xXx: Return of Xander Cage just a week before.
The actress ditched her usual, more androgynous style for the evening and stepped out in a glamorous Balmain chainmail dress. The multi coloured gown was drenched in sparkles and featured cut out detailing at the sides to show off Rose's tiny waist.
But despite looking hot, the Rose was definitely feeling the winter chill in London, as she shared a photo on Instagram and wrote: "When you're so cold wearing a stunning chainmail /react-text @balmain dress you feel like you're wearing barbwire in a freezer but who cares!"
