Nicole Richie proves the LBD can be worn any time of year
Nicole Richie was looking beautiful on the red carpet once again this week, proving that you don’t need to hand up your Little Black Dress now that it’s spring.
The mum-of-two cut a sexy look in her Anthony Vaccarello LBD at the 2014 AOL NewFronts event in New York City.
The spring 2014 dress features three-quarter sleeves and gold and red stud embellishments – ideal to add a lighter note to the look. And whilst this isn’t one of the most provocative pieces from the designer’s collection the pointed hem detail and cut-outs ensure there are subtle touches of sexiness.
Of course, Nicole’s pastel-coloured hair certainly makes the look considerably more season-appropriate, we won’t suggest going to those lengths to make your LBD ready for spring. We love the vivid hue though, it looks beautiful on the designer.
So, if you’re not ready to say goodbye to your black dress for the next couple of months, pretty embellishments, but-out details and maybe pastel hair will make it all the more season appropriate.
