Miley Cyrus certainly raised a few eyebrows in this look
Miley Cyrus has certainly had quite a year, what will plenty of controversies regarding her music, her personal life and of course her style.
For someone who could have been considered sweet and stylish in 2012, Miley certainly changed her tune this year, with plenty of leather, latex and skin making up her style choices.
In fact, it's been a shock when the singer has covered up in recent months. Two surprising looks were the green sequined Marc Jacobs maxi dress and the vintage Givenchy she wore with high neck, long sleeves and floor-length hemline.
The first shock of the year came when she chopped off all of her hair, and then there was plenty of leather introduced into her wardrobe, but she was still with Liam Hemsworth at this point, so her style was a little conservative if anything, when you compare it to what it is now.
Some of her most shocking outfits include the Dolce & Gabbana crop top and leggings she wore to the MTV Video Music Awards, and of course the latex outfit she later wore on stage whilst ‘Twerking’ up against Robin Thicke. The completely trashy t-shirt which she modified for her appearance on the MTV EMAs red carpet, and then the knickers and crop top she wore whilst on stage at the American Music Awards.
It’s more of a shock these days when she actually covers up, but who knows how long this phase will last.
