Miley Cyrus allegedly struggles to get clothes from stylists for photoshoots because they think she's too "superficial".
The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker features on the cover of the spring/summer edition of Love magazine but stylist Katie Grand had her work cut out when it came to borrowing pieces for the photoshoot.
In the introduction to Miley's cover story, she said: "As first I wasn't sure about Miley. A lot of people aren't. It was tricky to borrow clothes for the shoot because she seems to divide opinion in a Marmite-esque way.
"Many people I respect didn't want to get involved. They thought there was something superficial about her - dangerous, even."
Katie eventually managed to secure stunning items by Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs, Ulyana Sergeenko and Vivienne Westwood for the 21-year-old singer to wear.
And despite the comments, the controversial star, who often wears very little, is in high demand, with big names in the fashion world wanting to work with her, including Roberto Cavalli, Donatella Versace and Marc Jacobs.
Miley also appears half-naked on the cover of this month's W cover, in photographs taken by celebrated fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.
