The wealthy bunch of MIC, which thankfully returns to our screens this evening, have a wardrobe with a £131,480 compared to the £4,052 owned by the average TOWIE star, according to the research from Confused.com.
Not only do we get to see the aftermath of the infamous Slap Millie gave to Spencer, we get to scrutinise the style of the female cast members.
Preferring a bargain, MIC’s Essex-based rivals appear to spend far less on their clothes and accessories, which suggests an average of £4,052 inside their closet. The average Brit has £4,000 hanging inside their wardrobe.
However the insurance price comparison site is warning fashionistas not to get caught short by forgetting to include their prized garments and beauty products on their home insurance policy.
Gemma Stanbury, Home Insurance Expert at Confused.com said: “Popular programmes such as Made in Chelsea appear to have an influence on the typical British females’ style choices. However, when it comes to home contents insurance cover, we are noticing a trend of women possibly undervaluing their possessions because they are forgetting about the expensive pair of shoes or handbag they have saved up to buy or even forgetting to cover their clothing at all.”
British women on average own 132 items of clothing, compared to men who own 43 items.
