Kim Kardashian gets style inspiration from Instagram.
The 34-year-old beauty - who is launching her third Kardashian Kollection for high-street retailer Lipsy, with her sisters Khloe and Kourtney - enjoys "investigating" bloggers and searching through street style photographs on the picture-sharing site before creating her lines.
She told Telegraph.co.uk: "Now your everyday, average consumer can just be blogging and posting their own street style photos. So it's really fun, I do a lot of investigating."
While the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star is happy to turn to the public for inspiration, she is unwilling to seek help from her designer pals, including former French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld.
When asked if she turns to her high fashion friends for advice, Kim explained: "I don't. I always look at what Carine's wearing and I love to be inspired by her but I don't ever ask them for advice, no."
Kim - who has a 16-month-old daughter, North West, with her rapper husband Kanye West - also revealed she strives to keep her tot's look "classic" so she doesn't "cringe" when she looks back at her fashion choices in the future.
She explained: "I look back at photos and I want to cringe when I matched, like, turquoise eye shadow with turquoise sweater with turquoise flowers in my hair. Like, I was so bizarre.
"If I could go back [in time] I'd just be classic. That's why I try to dress my daughter classic so she can look back at her baby pictures when she's older and know that she was dressed so simple and cute."
