Kim Kardashian has inspired a fashion trend for wedding dresses, as sales of grey pieces have soared since her Vogue magazine cover.
Kim and Kayne caused plenty of hysteria when US Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour picked the couple to cover the elite publication's April edition, but it seems British fashionistas have now warmed to the reality star's style.
The stunning grey Lanvin number she donned for the fashion bible's cover shoot - which involved her nestling up to her fiancé Kanye West ahead of their imminent Paris wedding - has spawned a copycat wedding dress frenzy, with eBay reporting a mammoth 260% surge in sales of similar bridal gowns.
Spokesperson Laura Wilkinson-Rea commented: "Kim Kardashian and Kanye West continue to fascinate us and influence the style agenda, so it comes as no surprise that they have an impact on Britain's choice of bridal wear.
"With an incredible selection of over 150,000 new wedding gowns available to buy right now, eBay is an inspiring shopping destination for your special day."
This summer, stars like Kim are leading the way for coloured wedding dresses, with bright florals and pastel green hues also proving to be popular choices. Green gown sales are up by 72%, blue by 95%, and florals by a massive 107% on eBay.
It is not yet known what designer the 33-year-old brunette will be wearing on her big day, but fashion insiders are convinced Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz has created a bespoke gown for the occasion.
Kim was also dressed by Lanvin for the Met Ball, donning a deep blue strapless number with a black lining and a high-cut slit.
