Kerry Washington wears Marchesa
Kerry Washington had a lot to live up to at the Emmy Awards last night.
Seen as the Scandal actress was voted as the World's Best Dressed Woman by People magazine, she had to ensure she wasn't caught off-guard last night on the red carpet.
And like always, she didn't disappoint.
Kerry chose a stunningly romantic Marchesa gown from the Spring 2014 collection.

The incredibly intricate gown manages to be just enough and steers clear of over-the-top. But only just. With ribbon-detail bodice, floral appliques, shimmering beaded embellishment and long tulle train it could have been a disaster, but Kerry managed to make it work.
A simple wavy do, glowing make-up, a box clutch and Fred Leightons completed this look.
