Kate Moss doesn't think men should wear sandals.
The British supermodel - who is married to The Kills rocker Jamie Hince - says open-toed footwear is "difficult" for guys to look cool in, while women should be careful about what trousers they team their shoes with.
Asked for her style don't, she told Britain's Glamour magazine: "Long army shorts worn with an ankle boot, and in the summer, shoes with a trouser turn-up and no socks.
"And men in a sandal - it's a difficult look, even when they have nice feet."
The 40-year-old supermodel is a style icon to many and has learned over the years which garments to avoid as they don't suit her, even though they are often looks she loves on other people.
Asked what she loves but can't wear herself, she replied: "Modern, oversized, awkward clothes - and things with tricky sleeves."
Kate has designed a new collection for Topshop and says the pieces, like her previous ranges for the high street store, are all "music focused".
She said: "My collections are always music focused. As this collection is for summer, there are lots of pieces for festivals, as well as lounging around the pool, holiday inspired pieces."
