Kate Middleton and Princess Diana have been voted fashion icons, and it comes in no surprise really with their impeccable style.
In a poll of 2,000 poeople, StyleinView.co.uk found out who people considered fashion icons of today and then of all time.
Kate Middleton, unsurprisingly came out on top, followed by Victoria Beckham who has managed to recreate her image from WAG to fashion royalty.
Cheryl Cole, Kate Moss and model-of-the-moment Cara Delevingne also made the top ten.
The Icons of all time was topped by Audrey Hepburn, followed by Princess Diana and then Marilyn Monroe. Most surprising on the list has to be The Iron Lady herself, Margaret Thatcher who came in at number ten.

When it comes to female fashion, the survey also found that men and women are divided on what they deem to be attractive. Over half of the women included in the survey stated that a pair of heels makes them feel most attractive, whilst almost 3 in 4 men men prefer a tight dress and a mini skirt. Furthermore, a quarter of men feel that having a good body is the most important factor to being seen as fashionable.
