Kanye West thinks high end designer brands are too expensive.
The rapper has slammed fashion houses like Louis Vuitton for selling their luxury good at such extortionate prices, insisting he would never collaborate with the French brand again.
He told Power 106's radio talk show host Big Boy: "If I had the opportunity to design for Louis Vuitton now I wouldn't because the prices are just too extreme."
This comes after Kanye - who refers to himself as the "Louis Vuitton Don" in his song 'Last Call' - teamed up with Louis Vuitton in 2009 for a sneakers range, with shoes priced at over $800 a pair.
Kanye added he didn't want to send out the "message to have kids saving up that much to be a part of what [my] ideas are."
Nevertheless, fashion fan Kanye won't be shopping on the high street just yet, as he revealed he doesn't "totally agree with what H&M and Zara does".
He does however like that "they were able to break that idea that creativity, that these things you really want to have [don't need to] cost a million dollars."
The newly-engaged hip-hop star's comments are in line with his recent revelation he had approached popular store Gap for a more purse-friendly collaboration.
He recently said: "I went to the Gap and I said, 'Let me try to do something,' and I couldn't get past the politics... Our first night we sold $83,000 in tour merch. Imagine if you take these thoughts and connect it with a corporation like the Gap."
