James Marsden stole the red carpet at the Critics' Choice Awards in a dashing plaid suit.
The actor stood out in a sea of black suits in a stunning grey suit with black and light grey check detail from Ovadia & Sons.
He paired the suit with a white dress shirt, navy tie and rounded the look with tan Givenchy lace-up shoes.
It was a bold look, but undoubtedly one that paid off.
Following closely behind James in the running for men's best dress at the 19th annual awards show, held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, was winner on the evening Matthew McConaughey.
Once again the Dallas Buyers Club actor was looking handsome, and once again he chose a standout jacket to add some liveliness to his look.
He wore a Lanvin silver silk textured houndstooth tuxedo with black sating peak lapels. The jacket was styled with black silk pants and a white texuedo shirt, finished with a black bow tie.
He added sunglasses to finish the look, but we won't really talk about them.
