Last night saw the world premiere of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire take place in London, and there was plenty of stylish outfits to be seen on the red carpet.
Thanks to the previous film's promo tour that was flocked with plenty of fashionable and on-trend looks we were highly anticipating what would come this time round, and it's certain to say that once again Elizabeth Banks has not disappointed us.
Elizabeth always manages to make an entrance on the red carpet and her bold-hued Jason Wu custom gown did exactly that. She looked breaktaking. The yellow ball gown was given a sexy edge with cut-out details on the side, and to ensure she steered clear of Prom Queen territory the actress, who plays Effie Trinket in the film, kept the look fairly minimal with little jewels and a low sleek ponytail. Another pop of colour came via her red-orange pout and that was it, that was all she needed to ensure all eyes were on her at the event.
Doens't she look beautiful?
We have to admit we were a little let down with Jennifer Lawrence's look last night. Of course the face of Miss Dior was wearing Dior - Christian Dior Couture from the Fall 2013 collection to be exact. But the dress falls flat, it's unflattering on her womanly figure and just doesn't seem to sit right.
But that wasn't the only talking point of the evening, this is the first time Jennifer has hit the red carpet with her newly chopped off locks. What do you think of them? To be honest, they're growing on us and they do suit her minimal and sophisticated style. We're going to watch this space and see how they develop through this promo tour though.
Willow Shields, who plays Katniss Everdeen's little sister Prim, was also at the event. She kept it ultra girly in an Emilia Wickstead Spring 2014 yellow frock. The actress looked sweet in her look which she paired with pastel pink ankle strap heels, a pendant necklace and matching drop earrings and sideswept curls.
Jena Malone kept it sultry in her Monique Lhuillier Fall 2013 with fringe detail. The red dress hugged her body with a Baroque-inspired, sheer-effect embossed print. She added sleek lock, a red lip and dark manicure to the sexy look.
The boys all kept is really classic with their looks. Liam Hemsworth wore a slate grey Alexander McQueen suit with a white shirt and a barbed wire tie. Josh Hutcherson looked smart in a midnight-blue Emporio Armani suit with a white dress shirt, matching pocket and micro dot tie accented with a tie pin. It was newcome Sam Clafin, who plays Finnick Odair in the film, who really made an effort. He chose a Burberry Tailoring double breasted navy suit styled with a maroon scarf which matched his tassel accented loafers. You could see how much fun he was having on the red carpet too with his wife, actress Laura Haddock. Who also made quite the effort in a gorgeous white dress with cut-out back and embellishment detail across the waist and around the back of the dress.
Which was your favourite of the evening?
