Leighton Meester as Blair in Gossip Girl
When Gossip Girl first hit our screens this year, we were hooked. Gorgeous guys, New York scandal, fighting BFF's and of course the to-die-for fashion.
All three leading ladies, Blake Lively (Serena), Leighton Meester (Blair) and Taylor Momsen (Jenny) gave us some spectacular fashion in the first season, and with season two already airing in the states, we can only imagine how amazing the fashion will be this time around.
But while we wait with baited breath for the second series to air in the UK, we thought we take some time to look at the fashion of our favourite Gossip Girl, Blair.
Leighton Meester has become a fashion icon since starring as Blair in the hit series and it's not hard to see why. We said Blake Lively's fashion star was set to rise a few months ago, and now we predict similar stardom for Leighton.
Her look on and off screen is always flawless and, just like Blair, Leighton has all the latest catwalk creations and knows just how to pull them off.
In one episode, Blair wears a bow headband and all of a sudden bow headbands were everywhere. She also managed to do it (don't ask us how) with white tights, clashing floral patterns and spotty driving gloves.
Leighton's look is more relaxed off screen, while her alter-ego, Blair goes into style and trend overdrive every time she is on screen. not that we're complaining mind you, because the Gossip Girl wardrobe department give us sneak peaks of what will be in fashion next season.

On anyone else, this look would be a disaster, but on Leighton it's a fashion statement. She's working many of the Spring trends for next year, including hair embellishments, florals and ruffles- definitely one to watch.
Wow this lady loves her florals! This is a sneak peak from series 2 of the show and it looks like Leighton is stepping up her style in this season. We love the vintage style of the dress, the hot pink belt and the matching headband that she rocks in this shot.
Leighton works clashing florals really well here, because lets face it, not many people can get away with a green coat, red dress and bright yellow handbag? But seeing as it's Gucci bag, we give it a fashion thumbs up.
This is another preview of the fashion to come in series 2. Leighton's tartan skirt is a must-have, while her Missoni style print top and hat are just lust-worthy!
