Sharon and Kelly Osbourne are helping to support the campaign

Sharon and Kelly Osbourne are joined by Pearl and Daisy Lowe to help front this year's Fashion Targets Breast Cancer campaign.

Just one year on from having a preventative double mastectomy, Sharon Osbourne is following in the stylish footsteps of Kylie Minogue, Yasmin Le Bon, and Kate Moss to help support the live changing campaign.

The famous mother and daughter duos have united for the nationwide poster campaign shot by uber-snapper Simon Emmett.

From today they will appear in billboards up and down the country urging the public to ‘Wear Your Support’ and buy something from the Fashion Targets Breast Cancer collection. The UK’s leading charity fashion campaign raises vital funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer through the sale of specially designed products from leading high street retailers.

Every year the fashion initiative, started by Ralph Lauren in 1994, unites the fashion world with leading celebrity faces. This year retailer partners M&S, River Island, Warehouse, Topshop, Coast, Laura Ashley, my-wardrobe.com and Debenhams have designed unique pieces for the collection,  each of which is perfect for one of the many fashion moments afforded by the ‘British Season’. Prices range from £2 to £275 and all pieces carry a minimum 30% donation.

Sharon Osbourne has previously battled colon cancer and in 2012 underwent a preventative double mastectomy after discovering she carried the BRCA gene which increases the risk of developing breast cancer by up to 85%.

Sharon said: “Every year Fashion Targets Breast Cancer unites people for this vitally important cause, a cause that is particularly close to my heart. On discovering I carried the BRCA gene having a double mastectomy just made sense to me – I want to ensure I’m there for my family for the future.

“I hope that everyone in the UK really embraces the campaign this year. I know only too well the importance of the research this campaign funds – it’s vital that their scientists can keep making breakthroughs to improve the lives of women affected by the disease. So everyone please join in and wear your support”

Her daughter, Kelly, added: “Fashion Targets Breast Cancer is all about British retailers uniting to raise vital money for a cause that affects almost 50,000 UK women a year. I’m so happy to be in the campaign with the most important woman in my life – my mum. I’m urging everyone to Wear Your Support – visit fashiontargetsbreastcancer.org.uk”

Pearl & Daisy Lowe are also appearing together in beautiful shots which highlight the mother and daughter bond. Fashion designer, author and model, Pearl, said: “Fashion Targets Breast Cancer is a legendary campaign and this years’ theme of uniting mother’s and daughter’s really brought it home for me. We must raise money for breast cancer research now to make a difference for our daughters in the future.”

Model Daisy commented: “The Fashion Targets Breast Cancer collection this year has something for everyone and I’m really hoping to see everyone buying something from their favourite high street retailers – unite with us and Wear Your Support.”

Since 1996 the campaign has raised over £12.5 million for Breakthrough Breast Cancer’s life-saving work into preventing the disease, promoting early diagnosis and developing better treatments and care so that women will stop dying from breast cancer.

There are lots of ways to get involved with Fashion Targets Breast Cancer and help make a huge difference to the 1 in 8 UK women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Visit Fashiontargetsbreastcancer.org.uk to get involved and Wear Your Support.
